The Pro Spot Cobot Spot Welder incorporates a teaching flange that enables direct, on-gun programming. By integrating free-drive functionality alongside air point and weld point buttons directly onto the weld gun, the system allows a single operator to program weld locations without needing an assistant or a handheld tablet. This design permits fabricators to manually guide and position the gun exactly where it is needed on the part, which streamlines both setup and sequence programming. Overall, this localized control method is intended to decrease training requirements and expedite the deployment of automated welding cells in fabrication environments.
